The Aussie trio RÜFÜS has just unveiled a new video for 'Sundream', one of the most enticing tracks from the band's debut album 'Atlas'.
The full-length (released last year) was well received thanks to its fresh and broad take on dance music, combining a summer vibe with icy rhythms and a sense of hugeness, as if Jon George, Tyrone Lindqvist and James Hunt wanted to describe landscapes through music. It's riddled with joy and youth, while using dichotomies to create a vibrant sound: hot panoramas envisioned through cold samples, reckless beats encasing thoughtful lyrics and spaciousness suggested by small details.
The video for 'Sundream' upholds this imagery using shots of girls in bikini diving into water and plays with reflexions and kaleidoscopic effects to achieve crisp visuals. It sure makes us want to jump right away into those summer sweaty days. The single comes with remixes by Hayden James (which you can find right bellow), Claptone and Wordlife.
