London Grammar - Strong (Leo Zero Remix)

A few weeks ago, we've presented you Tourist's remix for London Grammar's single 'Sights'. Now, after the British indie band has released a remix album with new versions of songs taken from their debut album, 'If You Wait', which included Jonas Rathsman, Isaac Tichauer, Friend Within and RAC, it's time for Leo Zero to rework London Grammar's hit 'Strong'.

Leo Elstob (his real name) has proved himself a great DJ over the past years, remixing artists like Bryan Ferry, The 2 Bears, The Golden Filter, Madonna, Lana Del Rey, Metronomy, Hercules & Love Affair and Adele, just to name a few. His signature is a constant love for all things electronic, with a tinge of balearic, house, acid, nu-disco or funk perspiring in each of his creations. As for the rest, he is unpredictable.

For 'Strong', he uses a steady percussion sample, keeps the vocals unaltered and throws in some long range effects. In it's repetitive structure, it's highly efficient and enthralling, hinting at the upcoming Summer nights in his swirling around a breezy bassline and drowsy rhythms.

Check it right away, as it is one of the best remixes out there for this song (you can also download it for free), and remember to follow his Soundcloud page for new tunes.
